Student Exchange Karlsruhe 2017/2018

The International Women’s Club Karlsruhe has been supporting the German-American Student Exchange Program in financial and practical terms through voluntary work since 1968 under the auspices of its umbrella organization, the FGAC. Funds are provided through proceeds from the Pfennigbasar which was originally created in order to finance the Student Exchange Program. Up to two American students in Karlsruhe are looked after by the Club. The co-responding German students are financed through our Scholarship Program and study at a College or a University in the USA. To date we have supported more than 150 students from Karlsruhe and more than 50 Americans.

International understanding and tolerance are the aims of the International Women’s Club and by supporting the Student Exchange Program the IWC fulfils one of its principal objectives. Further information is available at www.vdac.de
